I didn't think it was possible but Warrior Fight Club just keeps getting better and better. Adding to the awesomeness of "Worth Fighting For" is the crossover teaser to Waiting for Willa by Kristen Proby, a book I recently devoured (so good!!!).

The uniqueness of Warrior Fight Club puts every book on my must read list. The author brings insight into the challenges of our returning Vets. I have never been in the military. I have never been close to anyone in the military that has protected our freedoms during a conflict. I only see some of the results in my town with a VA hospital.

The author brings different jobs and situations in to the light. "Worth Fighting For deals with Jesse and Tara. They had both been divers in the military. Jesse was a career Navy guy that had worked EOD, looking for a new career in DC. Tara is dealing with severe anxiety after a career ending injury. I would have a lot more issues if I had been her. Tragic....

A one night stand soon becomes complicated for so many reasons. And just when you think it is getting worked out BAM!!! They are complicated. Their relationship is even more complicated. As time goes on they work out many of their tensions at the fight club until it becomes complicated.

Sometimes love isn't enough. Sometimes love isn't the solution. Sometimes it takes a guy buying a clue and taking action giving this reader the HEA. Thank goodness Jesse bought that clue because that epilogue was MAGNIFICENT!!!

Laura has struck gold with the newest edition to her Warrior Fight Club novels!

Laura Kaye continuation of the Warrior Fight Club follows in the tradition of her past novels.

Continuing the theme of the stories following a wounded warrior, its complicated with a one night stand and discovering they they have an unknown tie to one another that leads to sparks flying. Not only do you meet these new characters, but you'll get guest appearances by characters from past novels, though it's not really required to read them beforehand.

The main characters both have their own flaws and issues but it's with those that drive the story and eventually how it brings about the stars happily ever after. Laura's characters are always very relatable and implies that even with the greatest challenges, we all can still get our own happy ending.

As always, I'm ready for the next novel to see what happens to these characters and how their challenges will develop their individual stories!

I have read a different series by Laura Kaye before and loved it. This is a Warrior Fight Club crossed with Kristen Proby’s Big Sky series. Jesse Anderson is from Cunningham Falls, served in the Navy, unfortunately his relationship with his family has suffered for too many years because of choices that he made. After losing too many men and feeling the weight of those losses Jesse decides to retire. The night before his new job starts he finds himself sharing nachos with a beautiful woman (Tara Hunter). Jesse and Tara experience a very, very HOT night together. Tara Hunter is former military as well. She suffers anxiety from surviving a terrible underwater accident that nearly took her life. The night she spent with Jesse was the best of her life. She slips away from him in the early morning hours. The next morning they both find themselves working together at the same company and on the same team. They both struggle how to handle their attraction and being colleagues. Both, Jesse and Tara, struggle coping with a team members accident. Tara introduces Jesse to Warrior Fight Club. Warrior Fight Club consists of veterans looking for a “community” to belong to. Together, Jesse and Tara, help each other with their “demons” to be able to move forward in their lives and hopefully find that special love that both are craving yet do not feel they deserve. I loved this story. I love how Jesse finds quiet ways to help Tara with her anxiety. Will they find a way to be together? Will their demons finally be pushed to their past? Will Jesse find his family again? You will just have to read Worth The Fight by Laura Kaye to get your answers. I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review. Easy to give 5 stars to this one. Totally enjoyed the heat, the banter between all the characters, and their strength. Also, I would like to extend my most sincerest thank you to all military personnel, active and retired. Thank you for your service.

Worth Fighting For was a great read. Full of relatable, engaging, likable characters, that really drew me in. And with just a touch of heat to set the scene and plenty of emotion. I enjoyed reading this a lot.

Would happily recommend.

I am a huge fan of Kristen Proby. I love the Big Sky series and was extremely excited for this crossover. I haven’t read Kaye’s books before. I’m not a fan of MMA books. I really couldn’t get into this. It didn’t really feel like it fit into this. I tried several times but couldn’t finish it.

I kindly received an arc for an honest review

Tara and Jesse meet in a bar and ended the night with an one night stand. Little do they know that they will meet each other again, as they are working together from now on. Their attraction is high, but they are convinced it wouldn’t work out because of their jobs.

I enjoyed reading this book. It’s a great addition to the Crossover collection. The only thing that bothered me a bit, was the using of the diver lingo. 🤷🏼‍♀️
