This book was low key made for me. The characters were so well rounded and the break up made sense within the roles of the characters. Overall a really sweet story and I love the messages about everyone being welcomed in the library, fat fmc, and autism. The twist with the friend was very obvious but I don't know if it was meant to be that way.

This was cute, funny, and mostly adorable. We have a few different representations in this including plus sized FMC and autism rep. On top of this, this book also brings up the importance of not banning books especially diverse stories. Overall i thoroughly enjoyed the majority of the book. My biggest gripe was i did not enjoy the FMC's personality at the beginning of the story. But as we continue the story, she quickly morphed into such a fun character. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun different romance read.

This was just really lovely. When I started this I stayed up and read like 60% of it. I just really liked it. All the characters felt really nice and unique and developed. Loved all the nods to the music man. Also really really like reading about a woman who’s like a conwoman and it’s not like we just get told she’s a conwoman we did a lot of showing not telling which I appreciate a lot. I loved all of the characters so much. My one complaint was I felt like it ended just a bit too quickly and I know we got the music festival in the epilogue but I was expecting that to be the end of the book so I was a bit confused but overall holy crap I loved this book.
