I will read anything by Lynn Painter as she has not disappointed me yet and this book is no different. Maybe the YA contemporary romance genre is guilty pleasure of mine. 

This book is a feel good, easy to read, makes you smile and laugh out loud. I would recommend this to someone who needs to come out of a reading slump. 

Overall, a 4/5.

dear god.... why can't i escape from causal misogyny... even in romance novels?! also you can tell that the author doesn't fully understand teenage culture bc

if you don't know Joe Goldberg, the recommendation wouldn't be the books, but rather the much more popular (amongst teens) show. also who knows the rakish without hearing it in bridgerton. also why would you have a friend's spotify password???
