Sunstone really surprised me. I kind of went into it with no expectations really and it was just amazing. At its heart, Sunstone is first and foremost a romance between two women - Ally and Lisa, who meet in an online BDSM community. I think Šejić does a fantastic job of portraying the awkwardness of meeting an online friend and all the anticipation leading up to a sexual encounter; it was surprisingly funny and I caught myself laughing out loud in parts.

The art though... Oh my goodness the art. I just absolutely adore Šejić's art style, every page was just beautiful; I loved the warm colour palette as it really suits the tone of the story. Sunstone (perhaps obviously) is quite graphic, plenty of breasts and lady gardens on show here as well as BDSM paraphernalia such as ties, gags, revealing outfits etc. Despite the graphic drawings I found it tastefully done and I didn't think it pornographic by any means.

I really liked both characters but I like Ally maybe that tad bit more as although she likes to take the role of 'dominatrix', she is at heart a genuinely sweet natured girl and I really warmed to her. I especially loved her friend Alan who is so hilariously witty. I am really excited about this series and can't wait to see how the story evolves.

of course the male character sees both of them naked of fucking course like for Ally okay they have a background , but for Lisa that was just so stupid bruh

every version online that i looked at was missing the same couple of pages so :( like 10 pages of this book i got no idea what they are
Otherwise it wasn’t that bad just not that noteworthy either
