FMC is insufferable. How it took her so long to realize that the MMC was hard of hearing bothered me it was obvious from the start. Their weird flirting/fighting gave me the ick big time. Let this library loan lapse 😀

It was a cute book. I know lots of people love this book but I just wasn’t into it as much. The couple was ok and I liked parts of it. I do love the family and there were some funny parts.

The phrasing in this book is just so cringy. "Tiddle my tulip," "my aching chucha," a cloth hankie is a hug for mother nature. I draw the line at snakes being called amphibians and Willa's mom referring to men as another species. No thanks.
