What a superb ending to an engaging series! I mean, I'm usually a NA and erotica fan, but this was a fun read!
I loved the storyline, I loved the history, and I loved the flow and progression of all facets of the story. For once, the romance was on the back burner, but it was the story that kept me going.
Vincent was amazing. Kate was strong and compassionate. Georgia and Ambrose were the necessary comedic relief. Jeanne was the mother hen. This story had it all.

I felt the ending was way too rushed. And I guessed the 'secret shock' waaaay back in book 1 or was it 2? I don't remember, but I was a little bummed I was right.
I still dislike Kate and Vincent. Bleh. They kind of suck.

It's 1:10 am right now. Finally! I got around to finish this series I started a year ago. I didn't enjoy the third book as much but it was still appeasing. I didn't like the way a major character was killed off near the end. It was sort of abrupt. It took me, I think, like three months to finish this book. But that's ok. It still was a fun read. 4.2/5 stars.

I really enjoyed this series and loved how it ended. Great good vs. evil story line and a great romance too.
"If I Should Die", to be rather honest after the end of the second I was not expecting this book to go the way it did. However I am sad to say that I didn't find this book nearly as interesting and exciting as the previous books.
Although I did enjoy the ever growing romance between Kate and Vincent (but seriously? A sex scene? Not necessary.), it was more of background music. I started reading it over a year ago and had to put it down because I was bored. Only going back to it because my friend insisted I read it.
From page one I was rather disappointed in the obvious foreshadowing. I was able to predict the way the outcome 400 pages before it was over, and wasn't very enthusiastic about the upcoming plot twist. However, because I was so focused on the major plot twist, I was surprised and excited about little ones throughout the book. Most importantly the small victory that my OTP made it. (EEK!)
The Revenants series was an interesting read outside of what I normally prefer, and although it wasn't a personal favorite it is something I would recommend to friends who are looking for something to read.

The first half of this book dragged. Really, really dragged, and I still don’t know how I feel about that. But once it hit part 2, the story kicked up and I flew through the rest of the book.
The author’s writing is still great, and the dialogue is still slightly cheesy, but I do like the romance. The plot did go in a somewhat predictable direction, but I didn't really care. The ending was pretty awesome, if bittersweet, and I’d like to see a spinoff or something at some point because of how open the ending was. But at the same time I thought that this book was a good ending to Kate and Vincent’s story and a satisfying conclusion to the series.
I originally rated this book 5 stars, but dropped it to 4 after looking back and deciding that a book with a blah first half doesn't necessarily deserve 5 stars, even if the second half was phenomenal. So even though I really ended up liking it, 4 stars it is. I don’t have the heart to give it less.
