I thought this one was okay. Nothing spectacular and it didn’t feel very festive, but it was so short that I pushed through instead of DNFing it. I’ll admit, one of the main reasons I wanted to read this one was because of the cover and now I can say that I like the cover better than the story inside it. If you’re looking for an easy read to finish out the holiday season you may like this better than me. I however felt like it was a bit dull and didn’t care for any of the characters except Luke. Sadly, even he couldn’t save it for me.

Estou totalmente apaixonada pelo Luke Darling, o médico mais querido e gato de sempre. Li este livro em inglês e tenho sempre algum receio de não me conseguir conectar tanto com as personagens por ser numa língua que não domino tão bem, no entanto neste livro não sinto que isso tenha acontecido. Achei a química deles INCRÍVEL, todo o enredo com a familia, o ex/futuro cunhado, a irmã e o casamento foram muito bem construídos para uma novela. Adorei a personalidade de ambos e o facto de se complementarem tão bem e ainda por cima ele sendo médico e ela enfermeira (FOFOS). Lauren Asher you have my heart

I liked this! I think it was a nice change of pace for Lauren but still gave off her writing style which I love. Asher is definitely one of the buy everything kind of authors for me and I love the way she wrote the characters in this one!
I enjoyed the characters having flaws and I always like when the guy falls first. I just am really over the girls second guessing everything, but it wasn’t as bad in this book. Just not that good for me.

This was a fun, cozy, wholesome holiday novella. Catalina and Luke bonding over Legos was the sweetest thing ever. There were so many moments in this where I thought: “These two are just so cute together”
Will I ever get over that Luke is “Doctor Darling”? No. Probably not.
I definitely recommend this as a holiday read!
