A serial killer becomes prey.
More evil lurks in a roadside toilet than the leavings of other passers by.
Travel malaise turns sinister for one young woman.
An escape room becomes literally a fight for life for the occupant.
A family travel through reservation land ... on the wrong night of the month.

These are just some of the tales that await you in this highly readable collection of short stories from horror author Shannon Lawrence.

Ms Lawrence’s prose is always easy to engage with and occasionally poignant, occasionally wry and funny, and often scary and downright gross. But this is the fun of horror: the anxiety or revulsion it provokes. We know we love it. And so does the Author.

A great addition to the library of the horror reader who wants short stories for the plane flight, the train or Uber commute, for bedtime .... or even for on the toilet. Though, after reading that particular story, you may never want to go potty again.

Looking forward genuinely to reading more works from this author.
