An interesting, short thriller. I really felt invested in figuring out what was going on - and even though I guessed what the twist was - it was a twist that suited the story. The characters were well developed, with surprisingly satisfying character archs for such a short read. I will definitely look into some of this authors others works.

someone is killing off your adult bully’s and the police can blame it on the height of son of sam? sounds like a win win.


i saw this twist coming almost immediately but probably cause i’ve seen many horror movies with this same twist. quick read. working my way through anias books.

I was surprised by how much I liked this. My first book of hers and I’m very happy to have read this twisted book. The mother “in her head” voice was a little off at times. Tbh I forgot it was supposed to be her voice half the time. Still a good story though, so, I will read Brother next and hope for the same or better
