This story is a spinoff of The Fabric of Our Souls. This is Lanston’s story. Lanston finds himself stuck in the in between. We follow his journey to cross over the veil. During his journey he meets Ophelia whilst performing on stage. Langston is drawn to her appearing care free nature and how natural she appears on stage. He immediately becomes enthralled with Ophelia wanting to know her story and why she is still stuck. He feels drawn to her and follows his feeling.

I fell in love with Lanston Nevers in “The Fabric of our Souls” and have been waiting for more of his story. This was more than i could have imagined. I cant remember the last time a book, or character, has brought out such real, raw emotions. I laughed, i smiled, i sobbed, i grieved. This was so incredibly written. One of my favorite reads EVER.

I knew I just knew this book would end up destroying me but I was not prepared for the amount that it did. I am so happy that Lanston got his HEA but I am still absolutely gutted with what happened to him in The Fabric of Our Souls.
Omg when he was talking about Wynn and Liam 😩😭 My tears started flowing in fhe few chapter and they didn't stop until the end of the book. This book destroyed me and I am still not ok.
Lanston deserves nothing less that the happiness he received in death. Ophelia is the perfect match to him. They were both so accepting of each other and their darkness within.
OMG the end with Lanny bring on the sobfest again!!! 😭 Lanston continues to live on after death with Liam and Wynn through their son and everything else they did to keep his memory alive.
