Finished this over a month ago and forgot to log it, but wow, what a second installment to this series. It took everything I loved about the first and perfected it. Bree is again wonderfully flawed and badass and frustrating, and I really enjoyed learning more about both rootcraft and the Legendborn world, I feel like the way the world is expanded in this book was really well done and there were a few plot twists that I definitely did not see coming, I am excited to see where this series ends up! 4.75/5

I am absolutely obsessed with this series! The second book is even better than the first. I’m so here for all of the characters but I am obsessed with Sel! He’s giving non-toxic Edward Cullen with tattoos. The ending of this book has me shook and I can’t wait to start the next one!

tracy’s writing in this book seriously shines in this series and you will not be disappointed with this book. it was such a quick and entertaining read i was not bored once. stg it may say i took two weeks to read but i read this in three separate sittings i’m seriously waiting for lb3 on her doorstep.
