The Gray Man is already hunted by the CIA. The reason for this wasn't clear. It's a mystery that only deepens with this book as he tries to come to terms with his past and a member of his old team. Needless to say, the effort doesn't go as well as the Gray Man hopes and he's left to do what he does best: take out the bad guys, and a few bad guys posing as good guys.

It's a great second book for the series and I'm already hooked on the Gray Man novels.

So much stuff happens. Like, a lot of stuff. I wish I could impress upon you just how much stuff is happening. None of it worth anything, though. Two women speak in this book - one is a secretary and the other is a glorified plot point. The stuff about guns and knives is probably super accurate though.

This is a great series!

It’s a real page turning series, and I’m very impressed. I have to thank my friend who recommended it, heartily.

Great characters, fabulous scenes, and appropriate dialogue.

Maybe a slight trigger warning for those struggling with addiction, especially opioids.

So good!

Second book of the series. I think the first book was better but we’re starting to learn more about Court and I’m loving that.

4.5

1/27/15. I like Court Gentry.
