3.4.

Even better than the first one since we get to know more about the man that's Court Gentry. This book isn't for sissies, if you're looking for cuddles and kisses look elsewhere. Also, kudos to the author since he knows what he's writing about. Hopefully he'll write more books about Court in the future 'cause the guy is a badass.

Mr. Grey Man is supposed to be so very good at what he does and "being" invisible. Yet... he does some truly bone-headed stuff. Still he retains a smidgen of humanity, which is good.

action filled and interesting story.

If Lee Child and Robert Ludlum had a love child, he would be Mark Greaney. Court Gentry is the successor to Jason Bourne and the other Ludlum protagonists: the Man Alone Against the World. And he is the indestructible man. If he lacks the humor and outrageously plausible/implausible plotting of Lee Child, he is as relentlessly successful as only a lonely superman can be. This one is better written than the first, with plot points no less outrageous but more smoothly executed.

Pacing was good. I’ll continue on to the 3rd in the series (Ballistic).

I’m really enjoying this series. Gary Man/Court is a killer with a conscience. He doesn’t put himself or his own safety above what’s best for others. Although he’s the hero, he’s human. He gets hurt. He suffers physically and emotionally. Yes , he’s addicted to drugs but that just adds to his authenticity. Good action. Some emotional stuff with betrayal. Overall enjoyable.

DID NOT FINISH

Main chapter had a drug addiction that I just didn’t feel fit his character.
