An interesting collection of quite dark and intense short stories. The premise of each was unique, but never felt developed enough or resolved enough for my taste.

I don't know if this book lost its essence in translation, or perhaps is meant to read in its original language...this book wasn't doing it for me at all. It took me such a long time to finish and I contemplated just returning it without completing it, but I guess the silver lining is that it's so short I forced myself to finish. I really didn't understand the stories one bit. A shame I didn't enjoy this since this author is said to be really good.
