This was a re-read; I originally read this in single issues as it was coming out.

This book made me laugh a whole bunch and I appreciated the humor throughout. I found it to be an engaging story and the illustrations are some the most expressive I've seen in a while. I loved the minimalist use of line on faces.

Great artwork, really fun moments of humor, but the writing overall let the book down. It was very jumpy and disjointed, and I found myself re-reading most pages to digest the story. Lots of potential, hopefully the writing gets tightened up in books that followed.

Really cool, especially the plot, but I prefer a bit more detailed artwork.

Just excellent! A simple, entertaining story with simple and radiant art, with great colors by Mike Spicer... Agatha has to be one of the funniest characters is comics history! Can’t wait to get my hands on the next volume!

Andrew MacLean can draw the hell out of a comic and has a great style. The pacing of the action is great. I just didn't really enjoy the story as much as I'd hoped. I'll definitely keep any eye on any future works from MacLean but may give Head Lopper vol. 2 a miss.

Art aside, I enjoyed the story of this book but at some parts I was a bit confused. I think I just zoned out when I was reading or something so that’s probably why. The art was amazing of course and I loved the use of color in the panels as well. At a couple parts I was confused on where to read, mostly when the fight scenes were happening. However, I’m most likely going to read the other volumes because I thought the back and forth between Norgal and Agatha was funny.
