Deeply charming and a pleasure to read, if brief.

Another strong story in the Hilda universe. It was left on a bit of a cliffhanger, so I’ll be getting to the sequels very soon

Cute, fun, and full of heart.

Pearson's illustrations are consolidating into a more evocative and refined style.

I love this series! In this installment, Hilda has joined the Sparrow Scouts and an enormous scary black hound is on the loose in Trolberg. There are a couple really cute allusions to Phillipa Rice's Soppy comics which was so dang cute. I can't wait for the next book!

This issue was just as dynamic and exciting as the corresponding TV episode!
