Everything and the kitchen sink spun through a blender of western, police procedural, and vampire tropes. Full of interesting ideas if only the author could settle on one or two themes, instead of everything he’s ever considered. Does include bright bits of writing and well wrought descriptions.

I'll admit there were some good parts to this book and it had an interesting premise but that's all overshadowed by the brother-sister incest, the literal actual war crimes, the racial slurs, and the vampiric blood breast feeding scene.
