the ending felt rushed, lazy, and far too ‘neat’. almost like a movie script. shame cuz for the most part of the book, I was really enjoying it and even thought this might end up being a 5 star read. But overall, i still enjoyed it and would recommend.
i saw @lauryn read this and i had to investigate bc neuroscience and it was so interesting. i agree i wish i could read korean bc the translation was odd at times, but i really enjoyed the characters and the writing. i also just wish i knew more about korean foods like definitely was looking up terms

This book was stunning. I knew it would hit my heartstrings from the moment I read the premise, as my brother is also neurodivergent though with a different condition from this character. Reading the world from Yunjae’s perspective is riveting, heartbreaking and intriguing all at once. The way the world interacts with him and the way he interacts with the world is at the forefront of this story; the intertwining undercurrent of the tragedy that unfolds in his family. His happy ending is deserved and hopeful, and made me feel good at the end of a beautiful read.

Finally I finished this AMAZING BOOK!! I had been reading this throughout the month and it did take me a lot longer to finish up than I expected, but honestly digesting this book slowly really made a lot of the quotes stick with me more. A great read thank you esha for the reccomm :)
