2.5 It’s not bad it’s just not for me. It’s not memorable at all to me and as a reader I want to FEEL but I felt nothing while reading this. I get that it’s the point of the character that he doesn’t feel so it’s an interest point of view to read about but never felt connected to it in any way and never really felt invested. Things happen to the main character in middle school and he should feel emotions but he has a rare condition which makes it difficult for him to feel emotions. The end was kinda sweet but also weird? It just felt like he magically got recovered from alexithymia by the experiencing friendship and romantic love and that’s not how it works. overall the representation for alexithymia wasn’t very realistic
