So good. Gripping, raw, completely new storyline for me

i loved the first half of the book as a character study and even thought it would be a five-star read, but the plot in the second half didn’t resonate with me as much as i’d hoped. i think it's one of those books where i have to reread to truly appreciate it for what it is.

Such a simple, yet sweet and hopeful story about the human experience and what it means to be alive.
