Love ruins everything and this book is no exception.
Up until the third part the story was great and kept the suspense going but after Dora appeared everything came crashing down. She served no actual purpose to the story and her character lacked depth. The main character was “cured” and became normal even though the whole point of this book was to show how a person, who's seen as different, operates in the real world. I wanted to read about that, not some “love can fix everything” bullshit.
The book had short chapters and the writing style was simple, maybe too simple to actually enjoy.
It was like an old book from the main characters used-book store. Written to be left forgotten, containing repetitive phrases, meaningless words.
Still pretty good though if you want a chill and easy read

This is the book that make my perspective on life change in the most abrupt and beautiful way. It is heartbreaking and thoughtful and full of feels, I love everything in this book ❤️
