The dark humor in this reminded me of Edward Gorey. Also, beware of otters.

Delightfully morbid, in the vein of the Gastlycrumb Tinies. It's mostly a quaint curiosity of a book - but unsurprisingly, based on the history of the two authors involved, there are some truly moving and engaging deaths too.
