Woah! This is one of the best psychological thrillers I have read in a long time. While reading I literally said "oh s**t" out loud when I came across a twist. Hausmann is so talented in the way that each character's story is woven together and how interesting each character is in themselves. While the subject matter is quite dark, Hausmann does a good job of humanizing each character; even the villain. Additionally, there's nothing in my personal opinion that was too gory or grotesque. I really enjoyed Hasumann's writing and am interested in her other works.
