From the first page I was pulled into the story completely. I lost myself between the pages. The emotional depth of these characters is astounding. They brought me to my knees over and over. Somehow they still find a way to surprise me even three books in. Seeing all their different angles melted my heart, their devotion and so many swoon worthy moments had me a puddle on the floor. I couldn’t put it down, all 600 pages are captivating and edge of your seat thrilling. The world and story are so well built. Everything moves smoothly and the spice is off the charts. Their dynamic is explosive, the chemistry an inferno that never quits. An epic conclusion that my head spinning and my heart all a flutter.

Series review: A solid (very) dark bully RH. Plenty of the typical tropes - academy, secret society, etc - without being completely generic. The characters were largely full and unique. I particularly enjoyed the heroine and I was very invested in her story. I rarely want to read more in a series after I finish one couple, but I will probably read the Dukes because I liked the world and the writing is competent. Full content warnings for this one.
I legit feel bad eating something a 2 but people like what they like. Honestly on paper I should have loved this. But it just wasn’t good. The story was ridiculous. The guys were kind of awful. And Story was just soooo bland. And the big Ted reveal?? Dumb! Definitely didn’t expect it but it was a let down. I also don’t quite understand why every guy is terrible. Like can there please be one dude who doesn’t wanna assault women?
