Spoilers ahead

Okay so where do I begin…

The Lords and Lady have all grown since the beginning of their story. Killian, Tristian, Dimitri and Story have all come a long with from who they were in the first book. Now they have found their family within themselves and their daughter, Melody!

The Lords treated Story horribly at the start but I loved seeing their journey together, the development of each of them has changed a lot. The guys are no longer those selfish d¡cks who took everything without caring of her feelings. And Story his no longer that scared girl who’s running away from something. They treat her with warmth and love and make sure that she is cared for.

One of my favourite things was to see the transition of the Lords lifting up their Lady (or shall I say Queen!) instead of bringing her down.

I really enjoyed this last book! It brought everything together and we got answers to the burning question that were rattling our brains.

*MAJOR SPOILER*
To be fair, somehow I did actually end up guessing who TED is. It was a quintessence. The idea popped into my head the Story’s mother, Posey, was TED and she did it to protect her daughter. It just so happens that…

Again, I absolutely love Ms. Crane. To quote her “I guess I can keep stabbing men to death.” She is a goddamn ICON!! Also, the way she describes her first meeting with Killian makes my heart melt. She truest loves those guys even though she doesn’t like to show it.

There were so many wholesome moments in the book too! Especially, when Dimitri read to Story’s baby bump. And when Tristian fussed over Story’s first sonogram. But where there we lovely moments there was also heart palpitating moments were I thought this is it )-:
To name one would she to be the home invasion scene x Ms. Crane, she had me there for a minute.

Another thing I loved is seeing the growth of Dimitri. Especially when it comes to his learning difficulties. He’s struggled with it a lot throughout the series and it was good to see him finally get the help he deserves and give it a good go. He improves a lot and even thought he still has his insecurities about it, he has come a long way from being the guy who would hide away from it and think that it was a weakness. To clarify, it never was it was just something else that made him more better.

A BIG shock for me was to find out that Tristian once had a twin. Now that may not be so shocking however the fact that at the same moment we find this out, it’s also the same moment I realise that his name is Tristian NOT Tristan. I went through nearly 3 whole books thinking it was the latter and not the former! However, he will always be Tristan to me.

To close this off, it may have been a dark read but it was filled with so much light, love and joy towards the end and I couldn’t be happier with the ending, it had me sobbing and feeling so warm on the inside on more than one occasion.
