Soooo this book... hmmmmm.... I mean I loved it and all, but I felt like it kinda dragged where happily ever after was concerned...

The book started right where the last book left off and I was so here for it. It brought so much thrill and steam and horror like the other books. I was also very shooken by the twist.

I DID NOT EXPECTD THAT AT ALL!

The boys were also their true horrible and sexy selves, but they had some tender and funny moments as well. I really liked that the author didn’t completely change who they were just because they were in a true relationship with Story, especially Killian. (Because he is my favorite and I have no shame.)

However, the conflict ended at like 75% in and the rest was the happily ever after..... I mean I love alll the cute and sweet moments of them after college, but it felt SO MUCH LONGER than the actual story. I just wish there had been just a little more conflict to round out the cuteness like the previous books.

Overall, this ending to a great series was amazing and I CANNOT WAIT to read the spin off!

At a certain point it just kept dragging. The ending no long seemed worth reading through all of it. Might eventually come back to it

Whoa

What a great ending to an emotional journey with these four. Who'd of thought 3 of the most brutal men I've read could evolve. Lawson & Rue really knocked this book out of the park, it has all you were craving from book one and two but never got because they love to give us that sweet torture.

Happy ending

Of all the dark and twisted things this series has had, it ends with a happy ending. Finally you see Story embrace her Lady role and open her heart to her men. Her men finally realize her worth and see her as more than property. This book answers all pending questions and brings all their drama to an end. Plus you get several chapters at the end showing them living their lives years after. To me the last several chapters were not needed, they didn’t lead into the next book but they were sweet to see that their relationship could work.

Lords of Mercy is the conclusion of Story and her Lords, Killian (Killer) Tristian and Dimitri (Rath).

There were more twists and turns to come in this book. There was still the focus on finding Story's stalker, Ted. When you find out who it is, I was like ?????? When you get their reasoning I can understand why, but at the actual reveal, it was a case of REALLY!!!

The character development come front and centre in this book. It was time for the guys to truly redeem themselves.

This book wasn't as dark as Lords of Pain and Lords of Wrath, but considering what Story has already been put through, I was glad that this book was a little lighter. Don't get me wrong, there are still a couple of dark parts, just nothing compared to the previous books.

This book focused more on the relationship between Story and her guys. Learning to live together, love together and learning to trust each other. Each of the guys show how much they love Story as the book progresses.

The sex scenes were amazing. When they decided to play Candy Cocks. Fun was had by all.

Considering how close the guys got at times when they were with Story, I thought there was going to be some MM action. There wasn't, which I was glad for as I really wanted their focus to be on their Lady.

And what can I say about Ms Crane. She was a cranky old battle axe and her insults of the guys were hilarious.

FAVOURITE QUOTE (Just tied the Lords books together)

“Over the years, we’ve weaved together the pain of love, the wrath of loss, and the mercy of forgiveness. This is what it means to love something more than yourself, and this is what we’ve created with it. Our own little Kingdom.”
