(girly there were so many dumb typos in the book)

This was an entertaining read on a bad day; it kept me company and my own personal irritation level at students being made to work long hours for free on internships when they should be being paid didn't ruin the experience.

I am a true hockey nut and thought it would be fun to read a book during the first round of the playoffs. I saw this on book tok and thought it sounded cute. First, I really liked Michael. Second, I liked that this was not just about the couple, the other relationships in the book were relatable and made it more interesting. But can we talk about the writing. I think she might have said that Naomi smelled like lemons 400 times. WTH? Why? I have seen this in other books too, her hair smelled like strawberries, etc. Once or twice is ok, but after that it is too repetitive. Then she also said the thing about making a popping sound off her breast multiple times. Come on....get creative.

this one started off slow and hard to get into but once I did I was absolutely hooked. I enjoyed their relationship and it felt so real.

3.5 rounded UP! Michael Reiner, Communication King! This book needed some more edits, but despite that I loved Michael and Naomi and appreciated the development of the other characters around them… it was subtle but it made me excited to see where this series leads.
