I liked this but there wasn’t enough character development. Freya and her boys were interesting but they lived next door and didn’t hash out for why she cooled it With them. I mean 5 years… and no talking it out? Fiction to the extreme.

Kinda corny at times. And predictable. But I was entertained the whole time! It was fast-paced, and the characters were super whole.

•Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
•Plot:⭐️⭐️⭐️

I read a lot of reviews before deciding on buying this book. Many were somewhat negative regarding the beginning of this story and how the guys treat the MC, Freya. After reading those, I was somewhat hesitant, but I took the dive and bought it anyways, and I have no regrets!
Her Secret, a standalone in the Bad Influence series, was such a great read. The guys were definitely assholes in the beginning of the story, mad and hurt by Freya's apparent disregard for them. And not gonna lie, the first part of the book was kinda tough to read. One of my biggest pet peeves in stories (especially reverse harems) is when the guys are jerks to their girl. But, their cruelty was as painful to them as it was to Freya, and they quickly (some quicker than others) abandon that path when their true feelings start to come to the surface again.
Overall this was a fairly quick read with accelerated plot (it is a standalone, not tons of time for character and plot developments) and some steamy scenes that really kickstarted their relationship. Some aspects of the story weren't as developed as others, but the main issues are all resolved in the end.
Her Secret was an enjoyable read and I will definitely be checking out any future books by this author!

Amazing!

This book was awesome! The detail of all of the brothers, including their own little personalities. I honestly didn't know if freya was gonna be able to let go of what the world was gonna think about her and the boys, but awesome that she finally did.

Ivy fox is my unicorn author for this genre but i really didnt like this book, there was no connection or chemistry between the characters which was shocking for me since i read some of her books and there was always hot chemistry but this one was just lacking. The heroine is weak as hell and..... it was boring. It was too predictable and cringe af, i liked the beginning and thought i ll enjoy this book mainly cuz i have been obsessing over this genre lately but as it went towards the end, i couldnt keep reading cuz i was so bored and the heroine annoyed me to death.

Fast paced, great story, HEA

I will forever love a good friends to lovers story. But this takes it a half step further, friends to almost lovers to enemies to lovers! Which was a blast to read!
