I thought the introductions were a bit hasty and insta lovey, but I was enjoying the banter and the plot, as well as the depictions of Eli's disability. A lot of the stuff was a bit of a far reach, Hockey captain at 19, youtube star etc etc. This read like fanfic. This book went nowhere. The ending felt so incomplete and disappointing.

surprisingly cute and wholesome.  I love the slow burn friends to lovers tropes. love the rep for epilepsy and getting to see Alex's learning process of it all.

So absolutely, relentlessly cute and fluffy that I forgive it its main sins, ie:
No edge
No angst
No realism
No female characters

But whatever (minus the last one. The last one felt weird). It’s truly a hug in book form.
