Omg, hilarious from the first line! It's definitely a little wacky at points, and I got confused by the worldbuilding occasionally (this often happens to me with audio, though, so it could just be a me problem), but overall, I really enjoyed it. Definitely different. Oh, and there's a really cute animal sidekick.
The narration is brilliant. I'm not the biggest fan of single narration, but Tempest does a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life.

Well that was incredibly underwhelming. I was excited for this book but Rayna was annoying and Metice was one-dimensional, the antagonist was a scorned ex using daddy’s power go try and force Metice back to her and I kid you not in the final showdown she literally screamed at her dad to “make him leave her (Rayna)” like a toddler and it was resolved by her dad… ignoring her?

This is a book for adult readers (sex scenes) but it was the most fun I had reading a book in ages. It leads with humor and crafts a couple of worlds baaed on our two main characters and female lead. I loved it. I found it fun, witty, engaging and imaginative -- I highly recommend it. It was fantastic and I'm going to read more from thia author.

Its a very fun read. I liked how the topic of women friendships in adulthood was mention. Had a small role but enough to feel relatable. I look forward to reading more of Cage's work
