another series to add to my must read list. this was silly and hilarious and magical and spicy. oh and he's a demon she accidentally summoned who then kidnaps her back to hell? yes please sign me up.

If Rayna had better friends/community, she wouldn’t have been so bored. Boredom got her to summon (Metice) the handsome demon with a rotating d*ck but luckily a time was had. This started as a monster romance with jumpscares and morphed into a drawn-out adventure that felt more alien than supernatural. If the book had stopped at the first ½, I would’ve loved it. Likes: Metice had depth, could cook, and do hair! Piko was adorable. Dislikes: Rayna was a magnet for chaos. Metice’s ex (Olian) was so childish. The vomit scene—WTF?
