He does all of this with a psychopath ex on his trail. I liked the fact that his world was not what we think of in terms of he'll. It was a different world which opens our FMC to mysteries of her past ancestral lineage.

this book was hilarious! i’m not usually tapped into the romantasy realm, but for what it was, this delivered. there were a few times rayna came across as immature — like she was missing some key comprehension skills — but honestly, the humor made up for it.
i wasn’t a huge fan of the audiobook narrator’s interpretation of metice’s voice — especially that demon growl — but metice himself? doting. attentive. borderline perfect. he cooked for rayna, bought her favorite books, and even twisted her hairrrr. i really had to stop and ask myself: do i need to summon a demon boyfriend or what?! 😂
olian felt like an overgrown teenager throwing a tantrum. completely unhinged energy because she couldn’t get her way — absolutely hilarious.
