Dinosaurs: A Giant Fold-Out Book by Simms Taback

A giant fold-out book is right up there with a lift-the-flap for fun. Simms Taback's Dinosaurs introduces six dinosaurs. Each "page" starts with "Who am I?" and clues are given before each page is unfolded (twice) for the big reveal. If you're planning to read this one out loud, give it a little practice ahead of time so you have those dino names down. Also, if reading to a group, the manipulation of the pages takes on a extra dimension. This one is short and great any point in story time. It's suited to both toddler and preschool groups.
