This book was so hard hitting to read as it centred around Tilly and her family. Cathy glass really knows how to tell each individual story and what the child goes through. I felt so sorri for Tilly as her step daddy was a predator and did things without Tilly and her mum knowing like videoing Tilly as he put camera in the poor girls bedroom and bathroom. Her mother managed to finally get out of the bad situation and went to move back home with her mum and for some time Tilly had her family back together till her mum explained some things to her and it crumbled down but Cathy really helped Tilly and looked after her so well and comforted her. Cathy’s daughter also had a baby girl in this book which made the book have a happy ending. Cathy writing is so well done and she explains things to the reader which I really appreciate of her. Xxx

As much as the content of the book was informative around fostering as well as heartbreaking to listen to, you never hear the ‘end’ of this story and are asked to follow Tilly’s story in the next book. That made it felt like the story was exploited to sell the next and other books that are mentioned.
