This was a tough but great story. I had to put it down several times just to collect myself and regroup but found myself picking up not long after each stop.

The depiction of both lily and Lo's addictions were so well written I found it difficult to read at times with the emotional and physical toll it took on both of them.

I feel this story is an important read for that very reason. People should read this to see just how bad addictions can be and the toll it can have on those with an addiction. But I feel it's especially important with the depiction of lily's sex addiction as it shows how it's not taken as seriously as other addictions, especially since she a woman with how society views a woman being sexual in the first place.

By the end I was very proud of both of them for taking steps to heal from their addictions after they both hit their worst. And I was so happy that they had gained a support system outside of just the two of them that they could rely on.

I'm excited to see what happens next for them in the following books.

OK wow… I can understand the hype, because I am girly invested in this relationship dynamic. Like I’m definitely rooting for them, but I also think that their siblings are overstepping their boundaries. That’s my only hiccup with the siblings relationship. I definitely can’t wait to read the next book!

So I decided to start reading this series after years on my TBR list. I've read most of the Like Us series, the series about the generation after this one. I didn't think I would love to read about the characters in this series as much as I actually did. I know that this book is just the beginning of many books but I already have anxiety over its ending.
