This is one of the few books that has me really crying, which i count as a good thing. One thing I also like on how this book/series is build is that it had an ending, but i want like it "could" countiune is has to. The ending was both a good but also a heartbreaking one.
Lily and Lo truly derserv each other, looking a way for all the dark part of the realtionship, that a relationship you want, to be in love with your bestfriend. During the book i head the thought that Lo is an amazing boyfriend and the he truly loves Lily and always has, so has she.
The were parts of Lily that I found relativble and I LOVE how she is so aware of how she is feeling, but she is afried to let the truth of it come to fourth.
I would defently recond for pepeole to read this book, if you are sure you can handle the topics in the book , and the trigger warnings.

I don't know what I was expecting, but it definitely did not deliver. Also, the twist was obvious from a mile away.
I think I was swayed by those that said they loved the couple. I've read darker romances before and they've been meh to okay so I figured, maybe this is the one. It was not the one.

I already loved Lily and Lo, so I'm glad that I still do! It's really neat to see how it all started.
The whole situation with Ryke though felt very random and unbelievable, there was probably a less abstract and more realistic way for him to wiggle into their lives.
The romance was not a spicy as their later books, the pace felt a little slow, but overall was still a great book. The best thing about this book over the sequels is that there are actual problems and real angst. Much appreciated.

I really liked the characters and the different dynamics, I think Rose is my favorite so far. The book was funny at times and I'm no expert but I'd say the addictions were shown realistically. Even though I was annoyed at some parts, the story had something about it that drew me in and made me want to know how the story continues in the next book.
Some parts were a little long and sometimes I was frustrated with how Lily and Lo's respective addictions were everything their days revolved around, thus being very present in the book and in every single chapter, but that's what addiction is after all. I believe that was a good way of showing how present an addiction is in an affected person's life.
I'm currently watching 'desperate housewives' (yes, I am going somewhere with this) and a side character had a sex addiction which I couldn't quite grasp. Therefore I found it incredibly eye opening to read about it from an addicts point of view and the authors did an amazing job in conveying how it impacts Lily's life.
Overall, I had a great time reading the book and the characters have already grown on me<3
I'm rating this three starts because I believe there's still room for improvement story wise.
