The Addicted/Calloway Sisters series has been on my TBR for a while and I finally picked up the first book. Sometimes I'm in the mood for a book that's easy to binge and similar to the Magnolia Parks books - toxic relationship, drama, stupid rich people, braindead entertainment - and Addicted to You definitely falls under these categories.

The book was easy to binge and somewhat entertaining. I was never fully invested in Lily & Lo, they're so bad for each other and I didn't want to root for them as a couple. Lily started to annoy me towards the end, girl had me rolling my eyes and face palming. I liked the introduction of Connor and Ryke, if the entire book was just Lily & Lo off in their own world I think I would've DNF'd.

I'm not itching to start the second book, but will probably come back to this series whenever I need a palette cleanser.

This was a tough but great story. I had to put it down several times just to collect myself and regroup but found myself picking up not long after each stop.

The depiction of both lily and Lo's addictions were so well written I found it difficult to read at times with the emotional and physical toll it took on both of them.

I feel this story is an important read for that very reason. People should read this to see just how bad addictions can be and the toll it can have on those with an addiction. But I feel it's especially important with the depiction of lily's sex addiction as it shows how it's not taken as seriously as other addictions, especially since she a woman with how society views a woman being sexual in the first place.

By the end I was very proud of both of them for taking steps to heal from their addictions after they both hit their worst. And I was so happy that they had gained a support system outside of just the two of them that they could rely on.

I'm excited to see what happens next for them in the following books.
