This book shouldn't be considered a romance novel, at all. It is a love story between two best friends who are dealing with addictions, but it's not a romance. It is a book about addiction. And how it can get ugly. Very, very ugly. But the book was great. It made you feel for the characters. It made you hurt with them. It made you hurt for them. It was great.

Wow. I love these characters already. I had to have a break while reading it, I don’t think it’s a book you can binge read. But sometimes that’s a good thing. However, I’m sure the series only gets better and I’m definitely continuing.

I really couldn't decide between 4.5 and 4.75 stars but I went with the latter because when I draw up the mental images that this story gave me, I felt so rooted in the setting whilst reading and the characters already feel familiar. It's impossible not to root for every character involved and I really can't wait to read the rest of this series, I'm ready to have my heart broken lol
