yeah. like, orwell really outlined how shit life was for the working class, and why we need socialism. it sure is a shame it didnt go the good way. had some really interesting things to say about work towards the beginning and end, but the middle was a bit of a slump for me. WE DID IT JOE (took me 3 yrs to read this book). also i agree w other reviewers that he is quite snobbish and has some wild takes on like, imperialism and feminism.
