This was a rough one for me to read, but a good book to have read. The scary part was how many of the things Orwell mentions in his book are currently happening now as they did then. Even as a person that studied History in college and was taught how history can repeat itself, it's scary to see it actually happening. I urge others to read this book to not only understand how the world works but to also understand how a possible solution is staring us right in the face but the stringent ideologies of persons class/mindset/agenda will stop us from reaching that solution every time. Plus it was recommended by Jordan Peterson, so you know, if you're familiar with him, will only recommended something that is both terrifying as well as knowledgeable and thought provoking.
