Love the characters, I really wanted to read the books they spoke about in this book . I enjoyed the pov changes and time jumps ie stuff we could very easily fill in we did not need a full chapter on farm work or coding . I do think that the author made it work fantastically.

The main character is annoying. I can’t handle her echoing every single thing anyone says to her. Not vibing with her inner dialogue either.
Slow pacing, heroine has a lot of unethical behavior and is a doormat.
i have a love hate relationship with this book... i loved the idea behind it and niall is dream man fr! but the idea of sam having trauma about photos and then creating a piece of tech that we've seen can multiple things (in the book she makes a book from other work but we know that AI is dangerous for many reasons) and this grated on me
I might add more later but go read this book, or better yet read the series. This is book three and can be read as a standalone.
It’s so good—she’s a computer programmer and he’s a farm boy + fantasy book author. They end up on a book tour together and become…friends.
I really need a vacation on a farm or in the woods and this had both vibes.
So cute, so well paced, well written, and characters are well developed.
Completely recommend this book!

I received an advanced reader copy of Trip Me Up in exchange for an honest review.
Trip Me Up was the first book I've read by McCraw. The story is well written and the characters are enjoyable. While Trip Me Up can be read as a standalone, I think having read the previous books in the Synergy series would have helped me keep some of the background characters straight.

Not good. The plot was there, but poorly done. It felt like the author was trying to make every character as three-dimensional as possible, but not every character has to have a tragic backstory. The protagonists relationships with the side characters was sacrificed to spend more time on the main couple, but even the main couple felt rushed and stilted.
Would not recommend.
