Yes, some of the racist aspects are difficult to read (or in my case, listen to) but I still enjoyed this adventure a lot.

A vernacularly accurate story bogged down with repetitious plot points and lackluster characters.
This is my second time reading this and I still did not like it. I appreciate the vernacular used and the distinct characters twain created. But the plot did not hold my attention at all. I did not care what happened. The ending was great because of how ironic it was. Slow read and not engaging.
