This is My third book by Nicholas Sparks but the ending doesn't satisfy me much.
The story is divided into 3 parts
I.
A guy named John living with his father,
In the beginning, I got a bad impression about John but he's just a teenager who has to deal with pressure, then he joins the army and on a vacation, he meets Savanah.
Their story is so beautiful and innocent.
II.
It's when John returns again but then differences began to grow between them thought the story I think John loved her truly and purely. But somewhere I feel Savanah is afraid to get hurt, she can't keep up with her lifestyle of John and in the process somewhere she hurt him
This part is the most heartbreaking part for me
III.
This part is focused on John's life in the army and how his relationship developed with his father n he meets Savanah again and got to know some shocking truths.
The ending is good I like Tim no doubt but, the ending doesn't satisfy me. It's like something is left incomplete, it feels like things are left hanging
Overall I like the book but it's not my favorite, I like how they make the full moon as a symbol to remember each other and remember the memories they shared and how still they love each other the way they used to. But I guess that's what love is selfless and pure and that's what John's feelings towards Savanah are selfless and pure.
I just wanted to say to him
Dear John,
I wish everyone could love someone like you loved Savanah and I wish we all could have someone to love us like you loved Savanah. You are a nice guy John and you deserved so so so much more.
Thank you,
♡

I never had a great opinion about Spark's books, but i feel it changed a little. It's still one of those romantic books about two persons who find in each other that one true love, which appears only once in your life.
I was touched, not that much by the two who were in love, but by the relationship between John and his father that changed over the years.
I cried and i can honestly say that this was a very pleasant book to read, despite the sad ending.

I have no idea what it was about, so I won't rate it.
