Picture book. I have enjoyed this series with my son, the rhyming scheme makes for a good bedtime story. This one takes some of the familiar vehicles and additional farm vehicles and they go through the year on the farm. They start in the spring, by preparing a road that had washed out in the winter. Other spring tasks include tilling the soil, planting seeds, and fixing animal pens. Summer brings caring for crops, baling hay, and building a new barn. Fall has the harvest, taking the grain from the farm to town, and then more harvest with the pumpkin crop. Winter has bulldozer clearing snow, roof repair, and making sure all of the animals are snug in the barn. The familiar drawings by Ag Ford are colorful and detailed as usual, the rhymes mostly read easily, and this is fun for both those who love construction/vehicles and those who love farms.
