I loved it. Be careful when using it with kids, because I believe it has the word "slut" in it.

Hehe. I've read so many Roald Dahl books lately, that my head's started to spin just thinking about them. This one, however, is different. Sorta. It still has the same wacky charm that all of Roald Dahl's books have, but this time, it's poetry. Yes, you heard that right. Poetry. Like the cover hints at, it's an absurd collection of fairy tale-themed poems that are indeed quite revolting. I frequently get bored by poetry, but these are wild enough that they kept my attention and were very entertaining. I think this type of thing can go both ways with people: some love it, some hate it. I think most kids would find this book hilarious though, so I would totally recommend it.

A cute, new take on the old nursery rhymes. Thank you, Rider, for bringing this home for us to read.

Miss Riding Hood rocks... Just saying.

Dahl's retellings of several classic fairy tales are entertaining. I like "Goldilocks" the best.

Really enjoyed reading this book. Very creative. I think this book is good for older kids. Good for kids imagination.

Lo mejor, las sonrisas de mi hija cada vez que Dahl suelta alguna de sus astracanadas, subvirtiendo un cuento clásico a base de humor y mala baba.

A really fun time. Some fantastically whimsical twists on our classic fairytales.
Who doesn't love Miriam Margolyes narrating?
