This is a well done book by a young writer. Hannah England has a definite knack for good writing. At the start I struggled to 'get into' the story but after the second chapter, I had to finish it! I would give it 4.5 rather than 4 stars, if it were possible, simply because I have a difficult time with stories from an animal's pov. Giving emotions and human characteristics to animals has always been a touchy area for me. Perhaps I lack imagination! This writer definitely does not lack imagination and I would like to read her future works. I think young readers will really enjoy this story.
