My first ever Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Sherlock Holmes. I really enjoyed this novel and I especially loved the old English way of speaking. Something about it is just so fun to read. I couldn't have guessed the villain or several other plot points of this novel. It was a quick, easy, and enjoyable read.

this is definitely up there with my top sherlock holmes stories. i was truly gripped all the way to the end - and the mystery of the hound came together in such a satisfying way too! i’m really enjoying working my way through all the sherlock stories and arthur conan doyle’s writing is very engaging (and even funny) to read once you get used to the style :)
