This was the first fantasy book i picked up since reading Percy Jackson in middle school, and it blew my mind. It’s so well written and so well paced, literally a page turner that i just couldn’t put down.

It’s a well-written and well-executed book, but I kind of hated the first third because of how stressed I was about Addie’s predicament. I loved the second third, but then eventually ended back at a stressy/hopeful/fearful state towards the last third. Thankfully, it ended better than I feared. 

Henry Strauss must be protected at all costs.

This book made me feel like my own soul was trapped, and I had made a deal with the devil. This is my first V.E. Schwab book, and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. As much as I wanted to pick up this book, I equally did not want it to be over ever. I don't think I can adequately express all the emotions this book evoked in me. I will be looking for Addie in the constellations.
