Unbelievable. Best book I have read in a long time. Normally I prefer books that focus on character and narrative over conceptual devices, but If On A Winter's Night a Traveller perfectly blends concept and plot. Funny, imaginative, and alluring.

Questo è il primo libro di Calvino che leggo nella sua interezza e la sua maestria nello scrivere mi ha completamente spiazzata. L'uso del "tu" nella narrazione è stato geniale e descritto senza cadere nella banalità. La storia, che dapprima poteva essere considerata abbastanza realistica, sfocia in un baratro di incertezza e assurdità. Verso la fine non avevo più certezze per questo libro se non la consapevolezza che lo stessi amando.
