I predicted the ending about halfway through then immediately thought 'no that's too dumb, it can't be the twist' but it was! It WAS the twist! Mess.

Also everyone in this book is awful to a teenage girl who lost her mother to suicide. I guess she is supposed to be like a suspect or something but boy howdy, it reads badly.

This was really predictable and really unbelievable, but hey, once I started this book I physically couldn’t stop. So if you like thrillers, you get what you pay for here.
I will say, however, this should come with a trigger warning for child abuse. Some parts were very difficult to get through, to say the least.
